CMC-GTFX-XXXX
The CMC-GTFX Media Converter Series is a compact, high-performance Gigabit Ethernet media converter designed to extend network reach by converting 10/100/1000Base-T copper connections to 1000Base-SX/LX fiber. Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3 standards, it supports auto-negotiation, VLAN tagging, jumbo frames up to 16KB, and Link Fault Pass-Through (LFP) for enhanced link reliability and troubleshooting. Built for versatility, the converter features a fanless metal housing for silent operation and efficient heat dissipation, with low power consumption of just 2W. It supports both multi-mode and single-mode fiber options and offers flexible installation via desktop use or integration into a 19" converter chassis with optional redundant power. With built-in surge and ESD protection, and certified to CE, FCC, and UKCA standards, the CMC-GTFX ensures safe, stable, and high-speed connectivity across demanding industrial or commercial environments.
