The CMS-2010GF is a Layer 2+ managed fiber switch featuring 20 SFP/SFP+ ports supporting 1GbE, 2.5GbE, and 10GbE fiber or copper transceiver modules. With a 400Gbps switching capacity, 32K MAC address table, and 10KB jumbo frame support, it provides a high-performance switching platform for connecting 1G, 2.5G, and 10G network endpoints, while supporting aggregation and backbone links within enterprise and industrial networks.

Advanced Layer 2+ features include VLAN, Q-in-Q, MSTP/RSTP, ERPS, LACP, IGMP/MLD Snooping, multicast control, and QoS with eight priority queues per port. Security functions include IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, ACL, DHCP Snooping, IP Source Guard, and Dynamic ARP Protection. Management is supported through Web GUI, CLI, SNMP, SSH, Telnet, LLDP, IPv4/IPv6, and dual firmware images. The 1U rack-mount switch is suitable for enterprise, industrial Ethernet, surveillance, data centre edge, and AV-over-IP network deployments requiring flexible 1G, 2.5G, and 10G connectivity.

INTRODUCTION

The DSGio CMS-2010GF is a Layer 2+ managed fiber switch featuring 20 SFP/SFP+ ports supporting 1GbE, 2.5GbE, and 10GbE fiber or copper transceiver modules. With a 400Gbps switching capacity, 32K MAC address table, and 10KB jumbo frame support, it provides a high-performance switching platform for connecting 1G, 2.5G, and 10G network endpoints, while supporting aggregation and backbone links within enterprise and industrial networks.

The platform supports comprehensive Layer 2 networking features, including IEEE 802.1Q VLAN, Q-in-Q, Voice VLAN, MSTP/RSTP/STP, LACP link aggregation, and Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS). Multicast traffic management is supported through IGMP Snooping v1/v2/v3, MLD Snooping, IGMP Querier, IGMP Proxy, and MVR.

Quality of Service (QoS) functions include 8 hardware priority queues per port, IEEE 802.1p, DSCP classification, traffic scheduling, and ingress/egress rate limiting. Security features include IEEE 802.1X authentication, RADIUS, TACACS+, ACL, IP Source Guard, DHCP Snooping, Dynamic ARP Protection, Port Security, BPDU Guard, and management access filtering.

Management interfaces include Web GUI, CLI, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, Telnet, SSH v2, RMON, LLDP, NTP, and IPv6 configuration support. The switch also supports dual firmware images, configuration backup and restore, firmware upgrades via HTTP, and system event logging.

Housed in a 1U 19-inch rack-mountable metal enclosure, the CMS-2010GF operates from a universal 100–240VAC power source with a maximum power consumption of around 40W. An optional IEEE 1588v2 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) feature is available for time-synchronized network applications.
