1G SFP Duplex
Introduction
The “1.25G Duplex SFP” series is a family of compact, hot-pluggable optical transceiver modules that deliver up to 1.25 Gbps data rates over fiber. These SFP modules support duplex LC connectors, are compliant with the SFP MSA standard and SFF-8472 diagnostics, and operate from a single +3.3 V supply.
Depending on the model, they offer different reach and fiber types — from multimode fiber (MMF) up to ~550 m (850 nm version), to single-mode fiber (SMF) links reaching tens or even up to ~140 km (1550 nm version). These modules are designed to provide a cost-effective, standards-compliant solution for Gigabit Ethernet, fiber-channel, or other optical networking needs, offering flexibility depending on distance and fiber infrastructure.
