10G SFP+ Copper
Introduction
This family of 10GBASE-T SFP+ transceivers provides a copper-based Ethernet interface for switches, servers, and network appliances equipped with SFP+ slots. Each module integrates a compact PHY and RJ-45 connector within the SFP+ form factor, enabling direct 10-gigabit transmission over standard twisted-pair cabling. The transceivers support 10GBASE-T operation and are designed for interoperability with Cat6a or Cat7 copper media over defined distances ranging from 30 meters to 100 meters, depending on the variant. All models include a 2-wire serial interface for module identification and monitoring, maintain full compliance with the SFP+ MSA, and feature a shielded metal housing for EMI containment and thermal stability. This product family offers a practical copper alternative to optical 10G links, suited for short-to-medium-reach connections such as switch-to-server, top-of-rack, and inter-rack deployments where existing copper infrastructure is preferred.
