4K30 and 1080P HDMI Extender over CATx with HDBaseT PoC, 100 meters
The HEX-HDBT-100, HDMI Extender, provides HDMI signal extension over a single CAT5e or CAT6 cable in a point-to-point configuration. It supports transmission distances of up to 100 meters at 1080p or up to 70 meters at 4K resolution. The unit supports HDCP and Power over Cable (PoC), and the built-in Auto EDID configuration ensures optimised video output and display compatibility.
Power over Cable (PoC)
Power over Cable (PoC) enables DC power to be delivered through the same Ethernet cable used for signal transmission, up to 100 meters. Only one power adapter is required at either the transmitter or receiver side, simplifying installation where power outlets are not readily available.
HDCP Support
The extender is compliant with HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) to ensure compatibility with protected HD and UHD content. It also maintains backward compatibility with earlier HDCP versions, allowing reliable playback with both legacy and modern devices.
