The DSG-HDMI-1080C 1080P HDMI™ Extender over CAT6/6a is designed to transmit uncompressed HDMI video, 2-channel audio, and bi-directional IR control signals up to 150m (492ft) using a single CAT6/6a cable. It complies with HDMI 1.3 and HDCP 1.4, supporting a video bandwidth of 4.95Gbps and resolutions up to 1080p@60Hz and 1920×1200@60Hz with 8-bit color depth. Supported color formats include RGB 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:4:4, and YCbCr 4:2:2, with audio limited to PCM 2.0 (2-channel). The extender features integrated EDID management to ensure stable signal negotiation between source and display, along with 5Vp-p wideband (20kHz–60kHz) bi-directional IR pass-through for remote control. The transmitter provides one HDMI input, one HDMI loop output, one RJ45 CAT output, and IR in/out ports, while the receiver includes one RJ45 CAT input, one HDMI output, and IR in/out ports. Housed in compact metal enclosures measuring 74 × 68 × 20mm and powered by DC 5V/1A, this extender provides a reliable and cost-effective solution for long-distance HDMI signal distribution in professional AV environments.
