1080P HDMI IP Video Extender over CATx with Local Out, 1-Way IR, RS-232, Chainable, 100m

 

The HDMI Chainable Extender over CAT.5e/6 transmits uncompressed HDMI video and Stereo 2.0 audio over a single CAT.5e or CAT.6 cable up to 100 meters (330 ft) between a source and remote display. Each TX and RX pair supports resolutions up to 1920 × 1080 @60Hz (Full HD 1080p) and is compatible with 720p and 1080i HDTV formats. The receiver units are cascade-chainable up to 10 layers, with each receiver capable of linking two additional receivers to extend distribution in daisy-chain or tree topology, adding up to 100 meters per layer. The system supports DDC/DDC2/DDC2B for EDID communication, RS-232 serial pass-through, and unidirectional IR control (receiver to transmitter) for remote device management. A local HDMI loop output on the transmitter enables simultaneous local monitoring while extending the signal, with RJ-45 ports used for long-distance transmission and cascading. LED indicators provide power and link status during operation.
