VEF-FHH-100
Display Emulator, Video/Audio EDID Copy
The VEF-FHH-100 is a display emulator and EDID feeder designed to store and emulate EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) to ensure optimal video display performance. EDID is of great importance, as it contains information such as the manufacturer name and serial number, product type, maximum image size, coloUr characteristics, factory preset timings, and frequency range limits. When a display’s EDID is unavailable, the EDID feeder provides dedicated EDID data to the source device.
The EDID feeder display emulator can operate using either a default EDID or a copied EDID from a connected display, allowing the source device to correctly match the display parameters and helping to prevent display detection issues, thereby extending the operational life of the display device.

EDID Feeder: EDID Ghost (DDC Ghost)
The EDID copy function allows the VEF-FHH-100 EDID feeder display emulator to either read predefined EDID data stored within the unit or copy audio and video EDID from an EDID-compliant amplifier, monitor, or projector, ensuring accurate output configuration. The EDID Feeder aggregates EDID data from HDMI-compliant displays and supports two sets of audio EDID inventory and one set of video EDID inventory.
· Reads and stores (records) EDID from the connected display to the video extension system
· Provides two audio inventory sets for Audio EDID copying, and one inventory set for combined Audio and Video EDID copying
· Visual indicators show successful or failed EDID read/write operations
· Prevents computers from deactivating inactive HDMI ports
· Integrates EDID emulation and HDCP handling to ensure continuous video output
· Economical, durable, and reliable design
· Compact form factor
