4-Port 4K60 HDMI 2.0 Video Switch with Seamless Switching, Auto Sensing, EDID and HDCP Management, Serial, IR and Push Button Control

VSW-H20-4K41 is a 4x1 4K60 HDMI switcher designed to route four HDMI input sources to a single HDMI display with seamless switching and stable video output. The unit supports resolutions up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) and integrates EDID emulation with 64 preset EDID settings (1 Auto + 63 presets) to ensure compatibility with 16:9, 21:9, and 32:9 monitors, including FHD, QHD, and UHD displays. Special resolutions for ATC, medical, and ultrawide displays such as 2048×2048, 1536×2048, and 3440×1440 are also supported. A built-in scaler optimises output for different aspect ratios while maintaining stable signal transmission and minimizing flicker or signal loss.

The switcher provides Manual, Auto, and Priority input selection modes, allowing automatic switching to the latest connected source or a predefined priority source. Control options include front panel push buttons, IR remote control, and RS-232 serial control, with support for 8 selectable baud rates (9600–115200 bps) via RJ-11 serial interface or USB-C virtual COM port. Additional functions include HDCP version management (HDCP 2.2 / 1.4 / Non-HDCP selection), video blank, and audio mute, enabling flexible integration in industrial, control room, and professional AV applications.

VSW-H20-4K41 Switcher enables the switching of 4 HDMI sources and delivers the selected video stream to one HDMI output device (monitor / projector). DSGio’s 4K60 HDMI Switcher unique EDID configuration technology provides 1 Auto mode and 63 EDID preset settings, supporting monitors with 16:9, 21:9, and 32:9 aspect ratios without image distortion. The VSW-H20-4K41 supports most mainstream monitors on the market, including FHD, QHD, and UHD high-resolution display devices. The design maintains continuous and stable video streaming, ensuring smooth video transitions and preventing video flickering or black-screen issues.

VSW-H20-4K41 EDID Management

The VSW-H20-4K41 provides three input source selection modes, including Manual, Auto, and Priority mode.

o Switch Mode: Input sources can be selected through front panel buttons, RS-232 serial control, or an IR remote controller.

o Auto Mode: The last inserted source is automatically selected.

o Priority Mode: The input source is selected based on a predefined priority level.

Serial Control (RS-232 & Virtual COM)

A built-in RJ-11 serial interface (for DB9-to-RJ11 cable) and USB-C Virtual COM port provide users with convenient and flexible operation. The 4K60 HDMI Switcher allows users to control the unit through a PC, serial controller devices, or a home theater control system. The serial command switching function of the VSW-H20-4K41 is designed for industrial control and communication applications, enhancing the integration capability of the HDMI switcher with external serial control devices.
