INTRODUCTION

The DSGio WMPS-8P41GM Web Smart PoE Switch is a rack-mountable web-managed switch featuring 8 × 10/100/1000Mbps PoE+ PSE ports, 2 × 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet ports, and 2 × 1GbE SFP slots. It supports the IEEE 802.3at PoE standard, providing up to 30W per port while delivering both power and data over standard Ethernet cables to powered devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones.

Designed for small- to medium-sized networks, the switch offers essential L2 management features including VLAN, QoS, LLDP, and web based management functions. Housed in a compact 11-inch metal chassis, it can be installed in a standard 19-inch equipment rack using the included rack-mount brackets or mounted underneath a desk for flexible deployment.

The switch automatically detects connected devices operating at 10/100/1000Mbps and supports both full- and half-duplex operation. Its intuitive web-based management interface enables administrators to configure VLANs, prioritize network traffic, aggregate links, manage bandwidth usage, and secure the network with password-protected access.

By utilizing Power over Ethernet (PoE), the switch simplifies installation and reduces deployment costs by eliminating the need for separate power outlets or AC adapters for connected devices. It is an efficient and cost-effective solution for powering and connecting network devices in a wide range of applications.
